We had a very fun and busy weekend! Friday night Dave and I went to a Christmas Party hosted by our good friends, the Willard's. The gift exchange was the best, we had a great time!

On Saturday, Ashley and I were invited to join a group of friends in one of their annual Christmas traditions. Each year the Moms and Daughters dress up fancy, have lunch, and drive downtown to see the Nutcracker. My friend Missy and her two sweet girls prepared a fabulous spread of home made finger foods and treats. Everything from sandwiches made into the shape of gingerbread men to peppermint brownies were served. The performance of the Nutcracker was wonderful, I enjoyed spending the day with Ash.

On Sunday our neighborhood had it's annual luminary night. Everyone met at our house and we drove around enjoying the Christmas lights, hot chocolate, and other festive beverages :) It was a beautiful evening. The streets and driveways were lined with luminaries and there were tons of fantastic Christmas lights!

On Monday night, Ashley made her First Reconciliation at San Juan del Rio Catholic Church. She is preparing to receive her First Communion in May. We are very proud of her!
